One of the stages of the Formula E world championship will take place in EUR on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April, the competition which sees four wheels powered exclusively by electric motors take to the track. To allow the circuit to be set up, diversions and temporary closures will be necessary, which will also concern the junction.
The Pontina exit of the Raccordo closes
As Anas informs, in fact, from 6.30 to 12 on Friday 8 April, as established together with all the competent authorities, junction 26 of the Gra (Pontina) will be closed on the exit towards Rome Centre/Eur, on both carriageways. The entry and exit ramps heading out of Rome will be regularly usable. Alternatively, motorists can use junctions 25 (Laurentina) and 28 (via del Mare/Ostiense).
Via Cristoforo Colombo off-limits on entry
As regards public transport, as we anticipated on 23 March, from Sunday 3 April the bus terminus will be moved from Piazzale dell’Agricoltura to Piazzale Don Luigi Sturzo, while from 5th to 14th the taxi area will migrate from Piazzale Marconi to Viale Asia . Furthermore, from 7 to 11 via Cristoforo Colombo will remain closed between viale Europa and via delle Tre Fontane, where the circuit will persist. From 8.30pm on the 7th to 5.30am on the 11th the green perimeter, within which the race will take place.
The borders of the green ring
The prohibited area is between Viale del Pattinaggio, Via delle Tre Fontane, Viale di Val Fiorita, Viale Egeo, Piazzale Ferruccio Parri, Viale Tupini and Viale Santi Pietro e Paolo, Piazza Caduti sul Lavoro, Viale Beethoven, Viale Asia, Viale dell ‘Art, Crafts Avenue and Athletics Avenue. Private traffic towards the Raccordo will be diverted onto via Laurentina with the establishment of a left turn and towards via Oceano Alleanza, while traffic heading towards the center will be diverted onto via Laurentina, via Perna, via Cristoforo Colombo and viale Marconi.
Patanè: “We will minimize the inconvenience”

It will be the administration’s responsibility to provide the citizens, and in particular the residents and traders of the affected quadrant, with all possible information, on multiple communication channels, on the alternative routes to take on set-up, competition and dismantling days”.
