Carousels, choirs, tears of joy and hugs. For some, even a swim (in their underwear) in one of the fountains in Piazza del Popolo which, for the occasion, was dyed yellow and red. It is the great celebration of Roma fans for the feat achieved by José Mourinho’s team in Tirana, where Roma won the UEFA Conference League against Dutch Feyenoord 1-0.
From the Olympic stadium, where there were 50 thousand fans watching the match in front of the giant screens, to Piazza del Popolo. But also in front of the Colosseum and inside the Circus Maximus where the party continued until late at night. “We’ve been waiting for it for years, too long – say the fans -, thanks Mourinho, thanks guys”.
